Icom IC-M801 MF/HF Marine SSB Transceiver

• The IC-M801GMDSS is a Class-A DSC SSB radio, meeting the GMDSS and MED 96/98/EC redulations. It is wheel mark for SOLAS regulated vessels. 
• The IC-M801E is a Class-E DSC SSB radio ideal for non-SOLAS boats.

Both IC-M801 models feature a remote head, with industry standard dimensions of 220mm wide, 110mm high and 84.4mm deep.

The control panel of the IC-M801 features a keypad, large dot-matrix screen with adjustable back lighting, and large dials and buttons to make operation simple even in rough conditions. There is also a headphone socket on the front panel to allow the operator to work the radio in privacy.

The main body of the radio is a black box design that can be mounted out of sight where ever is convenient. A GPS, laptop computer, and e-mail modem, can all be connected to the IC-M801, and there is an additional socket for an external speaker that can be mounted independently of the remote head.

With 125 watts of output power, the Icom IC-M801 is a reliable set for long distance communication. It comes with a HS-98 telephone handset, SP-24 external speaker, mounting kits, separation cable, DC Power cables, ACC plugs and spare fuses.
